"Member" is a term that we use inter-changeably with "donor," and carries special benefits, including discounts on merchandise and programs, and the right to
participate in certain members-only services.
You become a "member" when you first set up your personal account and donate to ALEPH.
This secure, personal account is necessary in order to protect your identity and privacy
when you transact with us by credit card.
Once you have your member account, you can log in at any time and donate securely, or take
advantage of the discounts and other benefits that we offer to members in good standing
(anyone who has donated in the past 12 months), including--
- Discounts on books, CDs & DVDs by Reb Zalman and other Renewal teachers
- Access to Bet Midrash distance-learning classes for both rabbis and laypersons
- Participation in our biennial international Kallah summer gathering
- Participation in retreats, training programs, etc.
- Participation in our on-line members list-serve community
- Receiving links to our informative newsletter, Kol ALEPH, three times ayear
- Consultations with ALEPH's staff members
As a member will I be solicited?
ALEPH never sells or trades the private information of our members. We will ask you annually
by mail if you want to renew your membership. To avoid this you can set up an ongoing pledge
on line so that your membership stays current automatically, or just don't respond and we won't
pester you. We never send our donors unwanted greeting cards, mailing labels, or solicitations
disguised as invoices, petitions and surveys. We care too much about saving energy and
trees to mail out a lot of junk.
We do send out emails from time to time about ALEPH news, resources, programs and services.
We don't send very many and we hope you find them useful, but you can unsubscribe permanently
from our email services at any time by simply clicking on the unsubscribe button at the bottom
of any message.
